In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top health and fitness applications in the Netherlands showcased varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Based on data from Sensor Tower, we take a closer look at the numbers.

Strava: Run, Bike, Walk saw its weekly revenue start at around $91K, gradually declining to $60K in mid-November before rising again to finish the quarter at approximately $83K. The app's weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 11.7K in late December. Active users remained strong, starting at 1M and slightly increasing to over 1M by the end of December.

Meditation Moments - Guided experienced a revenue decline from $37.5K to $29.7K by the end of December. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a notable increase to 5.7K in the last week. The app's active users showed an upward trend, starting at 168K and reaching 210K by the end of the quarter.

For Zwift: Indoor Cycling Fitness, revenue increased from $18.9K to a high of $30K in mid-December before settling at $26K. Downloads were modest, seeing a slight rise to 972 in the final week. Active users started at 2.1K and peaked at 5.3K in late November before decreasing to 2.9K.

MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter saw its revenue peak at $31.3K at the start of the quarter, dipping to $19.1K in November, and then climbing back to $28.4K. The app's downloads followed a similar pattern, with a significant increase to 6.3K in the final week. Active users showed a gradual decline from 124K to 95K.

Lastly, Flo Cycle & Period Tracker experienced a revenue increase from $16.3K to $26.5K in late November, ending the quarter at $18K. Downloads saw a peak of 10K in late October, while active users fluctuated, ending the quarter with a slight rise to 309K.
